James N. Eastham, Jr., Sc.D

Chief Executive Officer

Jim brings considerable expertise to his role as Chief Executive Officer of CentreLearn. He has more than 30 years experience in emergency health services research, administration and education. He is a former faculty member in the Emergency Health Services Department at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and served for many years as department chairman and director of graduate studies. In 1996, he designed and directed the development of the nation's only online learning Master of Science degree program in Emergency Health Services Management Studies. He left the university in 1998 to create EMSED.COM, which rapidly became a leading provider of online continuing education support services for emergency services professionals. He served as President and CEO of EMSED and guided the company through its merger with CentreLearn in 2005. Dr. Eastham is a nationally recognized expert on the use of Internet-based learning strategies and has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of EMS Educators and the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services. He has also led several national committees to establish recommendations, policies and procedures for the appropriate use and accreditation of Internet-based learning programs in Emergency Medical Services education. He holds a Doctor of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health.

Jason Paluck, MS, NREMT-P

President

President and co-founder of CentreLearn, Jason directs all technical operations. He has an extensive background in education technology development and the delivery of online education programs. In 1996, he designed the instructional technology used in the nation's first online Master of Science degree program in Emergency Health Services Management Studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Between 2000 and 2004, he directed the assembly of the core training curricula and instructional design process of the online training program used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency's National Disaster Medical System (NDMS). While guiding the development of the NDMS Online Training Programs, he co-developed the CentreLearn Learning Management System and the application hosting infrastructure to meet the unique training and record-keeping needs of federal multidisciplinary disaster response teams. He is an active New York State paramedic and a commanding officer of the FEMA NJ-1 Disaster Medical Assistant Team. He holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in Emergency Health Services Management and Administration from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Avraham Shtaygrud

Chief Technology Officer

As co-founder of CentreLearn and Director of Software Development, Avraham has more than 25 years experience in the software design industry. Prior to forming CentreLearn, he served as a software developer for Borland and Microsoft and worked on development of well-known products including Turbo Pascal, Quattro Pro, Internet Explorer and SQL Server. In addition to his corporate experience, he has many years of consulting experience developing cutting-edge Internet applications. He also designed a revolutionary new software modeling and design product called Conceptual Modeler, which dramatically reduces the amount of time needed to bring product innovations to market. Conceptual Modeler has been instrumental to the design and development of CentreLearn and provides the company with the advantage of incorporating client-inspired innovations into production quickly. He earned his Computer Science Master degree at Moscow University.

SUE AUMAN

Operations Manager

Sue manages all CentreLearn operations. She is responsible for formulating policies, managing daily operations and planning the use of materials and human resources. Sue also manages performance tracking and staff recruitment.

BOB BUCUREL

Content Production Assistant

Bob assists in the production of CentreLearn’s multi-media course materials.

LORI CAMERON

Business Manager

Lori coordinates company finances and performs budget management functions. She manages all of CentreLearn’s accounting procedures and ensures that they conform to generally accepted accounting principles.

KATIE FARMER

Account Manager

Katie is CentreLearn’s Account Manager for the South East and South West regions. She is responsible for a wide variety of prospecting, selling, and account management. Katie also leads CentreLearn’s product demonstrations, both online and onsite. She represents CentreLearn at a wide variety of nationwide tradeshows and manages the tradeshow and marketing efforts. Rob Galante

Senior Software Engineer

Rob develops and optimizes CentreLearn’s proprietary software and is integrally involved in the design and integration of new software and technologies. Rob has more than 25 years of experience in software and database design. Rob has worked as a software design engineer for several companies, including Texas Instruments, Reuters, Beckman Coulter, and Renaissance Technologies. Rob has a BA in Mathematics from Fordham University and is a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer.

TERESE HEREFORD

Content Production Director

Terese manages and works with course/content developers to produce course materials incorporating interactive multimedia and digital video. She provides technical expertise in optimizing lessons for delivery via the Internet.

KRISTA JOHNSON

Technical Support Director

Krista directs CentreLearn’s technical support functions, making sure we respond quickly and accurately to customers who need technical assistance. Additionally, she manages system testing and validation of new features for the CentreLearn LMS. Krista also assists in content production for the CentreLearn Course Catalog.

Jusup Lowry

Account Manager

Jusup is CentreLearn’s Account Manager for the Western region. He is responsible for a wide variety of prospecting, selling, and account management. Jusup also conducts product demonstrations online. Sonia Misajlovski

Account Manager

Sonia is CentreLearn’s Account Manager for the North East and North West region. She is responsible for a wide variety of prospecting, selling, and account management. Johnathan Peterson

Tier 1 Technical Support Representative

Johnathan provides Tier 1 Tech Support for CentreLearn’s customers. He also performs quality control on CentreLearn lessons and enters data in all areas of the CentreLearn Learning Management System.

Joan Price

Client Services Director

Joan is responsible for ensuring that CentreLearn’s customers receive excellent service and provides them with the information they need to make the best decision for their organizational needs. She produces and analyzes information gathered using customer surveys, focus groups and data from product utilization reports. Joan also manages CentreLearn’s course certification process and oversees customer’s training in the use of the learning management system.

STACY Tully

Client Services Coordinator

Stacy provides second-tier customer service and technical support for customers with a special focus on client administrators. She works closely with the Client Services Manager to ensure that new users are supported in learning how to use the system. Stacy also provides oversight of course content and curriculum.

MIKE WOODS

Systems Administrator

Mike provides day-to-day operational support for CentreLearn’s development servers, desktops, LAN/WAN, and other network equipment including back-up solutions, network operating centers and system security. He also installs, configures, and supports third party applications and is responsible for administration and management of network operating centers, maximizing uptime and security for our customers.
